Celebrating St. Francis
The Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi falls on October 4th and as has been our tradition at St. Paul's we will incorporate a Blessing of the Animals into our gathering on the nearest Sunday.
Therefore, on Sunday, October 3rd, starting at 11:00 a.m., you are welcome to bring pets of all kinds to our church yard between the church building and Gale House for each to receive a very special blessing!
St. Francis' love for animals has been celebrated throughout history and is based on the wonder and love Francis expresses in his Canticle of the Creatures.
